Continuing to Provide Higher Value-Added Services for Our Customers

The name “Intasect” originates from “intersection,” symbolizing the new energy that emerges when different elements and cultures converge.

I came to Japan in 1983 and got my Ph.D. in 1993. After working at a small company, I established Intasect Communications Co., Ltd. in 2000.

In both my personal and professional life, I have deeply felt that uniting people with diverse cultures and ways of thinking into a cohesive team is an incredibly challenging task. However, once achieved, it unleashes tremendous power.

The greatest challenge in enabling people from different cultural backgrounds and perspectives to work together lies in acknowledging that “being different is natural.” Respecting and accepting these differences—whether in culture or perspectives—is the first step toward success.

These differences are not limited to “countries”; they may also include departments, types of work, or other variations. Things that do not align with one’s own common sense or way of thinking are not necessarily “wrong.” On the contrary, such differences may inspire entirely new ideas and possibilities.

It is only by overcoming these differences that great achievements can be realized.

Starting with offshore development, Intasect gradually expanded into affiliate advertising, advertising in China, inbound tourism, and the ongoing IntaPay payment business. All of these accomplishments were made possible by embracing various differences. Rather than simply “overcoming” these differences, it is because they became “new sources of energy” that we were able to achieve success after success.

Our current research and development in the field of healthcare IoT is another example of how we effectively leverage a variety of “differences.”

Within the company, each member continuously blends their thoughts and perspectives with those of others. Simultaneously, Intasect collaborates and “intersects” with surrounding companies and organizations, generating new energy to achieve higher goals that cannot be accomplished alone.

Going forward, our company will continue fostering intersections in various fields, striving to provide services with even greater added value to our customers.
