Building a Flexible Production System with AMR × IoT 〜 A Smart Factory Enabled by Automated Material Handling and Shop-Floor Visibility 〜GUANGZHOU INTEX AUTO PARTS CO., LTD.As automation and labor-saving initiatives accelerate in the manufacturing industry, we have built a smart logistics solution that integrates both hardware and software systems. We connect autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and equipment such as scan gates, lifts, and pallet stacking/stacker systems with a WES that executes warehouse operations and a WMS that manages inventory. This enables end-to-end centralized control from receiving through put-away and shipping, optimizing the entire process and automating it holistically. As a result, the solution delivers both cost reduction and improved operational efficiency, and is offered as a standardized model that can be rolled out to additional sites. -
