To feel the difference of being an IntaSect employee in the field.

I have been working at customer sites since I joined the company, but at the beginning, there were not many employees from the same company at the site, and I sometimes felt lonely, wondering if I was really a member of IntaSect.
However, as time went by, more and more clients called me “Mr. IntaSect,” and I began to feel that I was not working alone, but with them as a representative of IntaSect.
We have many opportunities to work with customers and other companies in the field, but each company has its own unique culture, and we are trying to find ways to build a trusting relationship with them by feeling the differences in their cultures.
When working with companies, I also try to maximize the value of my work in the field as an IntaSect representative, taking into account communication style, decision-making process, and significance.

How do you communicate in a multilingual environment?

I work at a customer’s site and am in an environment where Japanese and Chinese are intermingled. Whenever I have a meeting with a client or someone from another company, I ask them to contact me in advance via chat or e-mail with an outline of what we are discussing, and I prepare relevant materials for the conversation. I try to avoid complicated grammar and redundant expressions, and to summarize and convey the main points in an easy-to-understand manner using charts, matrices, and other methods.
Also, in communication, an attitude of listening to the other party is very important. Even when words are not understood, we show an attitude of trying to understand the other person’s intentions. We use not only words but also body language and gestures to ensure smooth communication. When conversing with customers or Chinese colleagues on site, there are some aspects that are difficult to convey, and I often sit in as an interpreter to help. In a multilingual environment, we aim to achieve effective communication by using various means.

Employee-friendly company with children

I have a child and I would like to have a child. I spent about a year as a stay-at-home mom with concurrent parental leave for my child. However, as my child grew up, I began to consider whether to continue as a stay-at-home mom or return to work.
I wanted to live my life not only as a mother, but also as myself.
After consulting with the company, I was offered a flexible work schedule that would allow me to balance family and work, such as working shorter hours or starting with simple projects.
In addition, the company provides a good working environment by supporting childcare and actively encouraging employees to take paid leave.
In addition, employees are allowed to bring their children to company events, providing an opportunity for employees with children to share information and mutual support.
I am truly grateful for the various support systems and environments provided by the company.
