Employee Interviews

A company that is supportive of employees with children

Business Administration Division

Risk Management Office

Y.O.

About the Job

I work for the Risk Management Office responsible for the management and operation of privacy marks and the Cross-Border Privacy Rules (CBPR) system.

Although many of the initiatives required for privacy mark and CBPR certification are left to companies, we examine ways to introduce and operate them in a manner appropriate for IntaSect, and incorporate them into internal regulations and rules.

It is also my job to explain the status of personal information handling in all operations, as well as the personal information protection system and internal rules when undergoing renewal audits for these certifications.

I try to ensure adequate communicate with people in other departments, because without an understanding of how we operate, it’s impossible to give appropriate explanations.

A company that is supportive of employees with children

I have a young child myself, and since joining the company, I have been allowed to work shorter hours from 9:30 to 16:30.

It may be common for people who have worked all their lives to work shorter hours or take maternity leave when they have children, but I think it’s difficult to find a company that will hire someone who works shorter hours from the start.

We also have several other employees who work shorter hours.
Rather than choosing to quit the company just because you have a child, both men and women are able to take a well-deserved leave and then return to work, making the company friendly to employees who have children.
