Notice of Business Alliance with Insight Corporation – Making inbound promotion more accessible to companies in Hokkaido

IntaSect Communications, Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Tan Yufeng, President & CEO; hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), a promotion and inbound support company for Greater China, and Insight Corporation (headquartered in Sapporo City, Hokkaido; Hajime Asai, President & CEO; TSE Ambitious: 2172; hereinafter referred to as “Insight”) have entered into a business alliance (hereinafter referred to as the “Alliance”). Reason for this alliance
Insight, the partner of this alliance, is a general advertising company established in 1975 and provides total advertising and marketing services, including planning and production of advertising strategies and sales promotion materials, mainly for clients in Hokkaido.
We have also developed our own marketing research system, INSEARCH (INSEARCHR), which specializes in the Sapporo area, and have planned and implemented advertising campaigns based on the “voices of consumers”.
  The year before last, we launched “Insight Plus,” a new service that uses Oracle Corporation Japan’s cloud-based system to analyze big data and discover Hokkaido’s tourism resources, with the aim of further strengthening our digital marketing business in Japan and overseas.

One of our main businesses is promotion and inbound support in Greater China, and we have a number of services such as related promotion menus and mobile payment services in China. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Zhang Chengfan), the Japanese subsidiary of Baidu, a search service that holds an overwhelming market share in the People’s Republic of China, as the core agency for “Baidu Advertising”.
Our promotional menu is operated by “staff who have lived in China for many years,” and we have built up a cooperative system with our offices in Japan and China (Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai, and Changchun) over the past 15 years since we opened our first office in 2002, which has given us in-depth knowledge of the Chinese market and a wealth of experience.  Through this business alliance, Insight and MISUMI will mutually utilize the know-how and management resources that both groups have cultivated over the years in the Hokkaido area, which has been Insight’s base of operations for nearly half a century.
 This will enable us to provide inbound promotions mainly through websites to China, including support for overseas development such as cross-border e-commerce, to companies in Hokkaido, and to build a cooperative system that can respond to a wide range of needs of companies in Hokkaido to challenge the Chinese market. We will create an environment in which companies in Hokkaido can become even more familiar with inbound activities.
