(hereinafter referred to as “Mafengwo”), China’s largest travel information site operated by Mafengwo, headquartered in Beijing, China. IntaSect will be the only official exclusive distributor in Japan.

 

TravelMae is the largest travel information media in China, popular in mainland China and Greater China, with 100 million users and approximately 10 million reviews posted each month on travel destinations. Users collect travel information on “Tabimae” and then make reservations at restaurants and hotels, while on “Tabinaka” they make travel plans based on the information posted, and share their experiences and photos of their travel destinations on “Tabinaka” and “Tabinato”. The collection of travel information through “Tabimae,” “Tabinakaka,” and “Tabiato” will create a virtuous cycle that will be further spread by users.
It is used by many people, mainly in the younger generation in China, as a media for distributing popular information on tourist destinations and as a platform for making travel product reservations.

In 2018, the number of foreign visitors to Japan reached a record high of 31.19 million, with 8.38 million Chinese among them (according to JNTO, Japan National Tourism Organization) With the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2025 Osaka World Expo on the horizon, the number of foreign visitors is expected to continue to increase.
