Hankyu Hanshin Department Store became the first department store outside of China to be certified as a “We Chat Pay Smart Flagship Department Store”. 〜On July 16, the company also launched a new “cosmetics pre-order pickup service”.
(headquartered in Osaka City), an H2O Retailing Group company, held a joint press conference on July 16 to commemorate its first recognition outside of China as a “WeChat PaySmart Flagship Department Store”.

IntaSect Communications, Inc. IntaSect launched the WeChat Pay WeChat Pay service in 2016 with more than 800 million current monthly active users.
After the service was launched, in 2018, we have developed WeChat Mini Program, a cross-border e-commerce service that allows users to purchase products from mass retailers within WeChat
even after returning to their home country and a ticket sales service that allows users to purchase theme park tickets within WeChat before coming to Japan “Travel Mae”. We began providing WeChat Pay to Hankyu Hanshin Department Stores in 2017, and furthermore, in 2018, “Restaurant QR Code Order” that allows customers to place orders within WeChat without a waiter, and in 2019, “In-store guidance” using AI artificial intelligence, “Electronic Membership” for overseas VIP customer club members WeChat mini-programs such as “electronic membership” for cards have been developed and offered.
On the same day, Hankyu Umeda Cosmetics launched a new “cosmetics pre-order pick-up service” at its cosmetics department store, allowing customers to pre-order products via We Chat and pick them up immediately at the store.
The press conference drew the attention of many participants as a valuable case study of WeChat announced by Tencent and H2O Group.
IntaSect will continue to work on the WeChat mini-program, analysis using payment, and CRM, centered on the payment service, to improve convenience for foreign visitors to Japan.

Service overview: By pre-ordering cosmetics via Wechat, customers can pick up their pre-ordered items immediately at the Hankyu Umeda storefront. This allows customers to smoothly shop for multiple brands of products as they can pick them up at a single location.
