IntaSect to speak at PWC-sponsored seminar on cross-border EC in China “The Role of TP (EC Management Business) Companies and the Value They Provide” to be held online on November 10, 2021 (Wednesday) from 13:00-14:30
IntaSect Communications, Inc. (HQ: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Tan Yufeng), which provides overseas promotion and inbound support with a focus on China, will hold a seminar on “Using Cross-border EC as leverage to develop the Chinese market” hosted by PwC Japan Group, where our president will give a presentation on “The Role of TP (EC Management Business) company’s role and the value it provides” at the seminar. This seminar will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. online.
Under the theme of “Go global,” the Consumer Goods, Retail & Distribution Industry team of the PwC Japan Group has launched a campaign to support Japanese consumer goods manufacturers to enter and grow in emerging Asian countries so that they can compete on a global scale. The third seminar in the series launched as part of this campaign will be held this time on the theme of “Cross-border EC in China.
We have partnered with Kyoto Chuo Shinkin Bank to support the construction of a Kyoto-themed cross-border EC site for China, “Kyoto Yuhin Straddling Border Commerce City,” which has been highly evaluated by the Financial Services Agency as a business model for a regional financial institution because of its successful monetization. In addition to the cross-border EC mall based on the concept of local governments, the company is actively developing “live commerce,” a video distribution service featuring Chinese influencer KOL, and will be a speaker at this seminar.
On the day of the event, PwC will give an overview of the campaign, and guest speakers from three companies including ours will make speeches and participate in a panel discussion. Mr. Masanobu Hino from Hakuhodo Kettle, who is experienced in branding local specialty products, Mr. Kazushi Katakura and Mr. Blair Gao from Jingdong International, one of the leading cross-border e-commerce platforms, will be invited to discuss the “key to success in cross-border e-commerce in China. We invite Mr. Tan Yufeng and Mr. Kazushi Katakura from our company, which provides sales support for China cross-border EC.
