(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Tan Yuho) today announced that it will begin accepting applications for a limited time to produce a “PR video that highlights local attractions and communicates them domestically and internationally” free of charge until the end of January 2022.

More than a year and a half has passed since the new coronavirus caused a sharp decline in the number of inbound and outbound tourists to various regions in Japan. Now that vaccinations have progressed and the state of emergency declaration has been lifted, some regions are preparing for the sixth wave while looking ahead to a future time of convergence, and are formulating post-corona tourism plans and implementing measures to attract visitors.
Therefore, in order to meet a wider range of needs for post-Corona tourism in various regions of Japan, we will produce and offer free of charge the production of PR videos to communicate the attractions of the region, limited to three organizations from among local governments, DMOs (corporations that promote tourism region development), and other organizations involved in wide-area excursion tourism.

To launch the new service, we have formed a dedicated creative team to produce a video in Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture, with the cooperation of local establishments for interviews to communicate the region’s attractions to overseas audiences ahead of time. We spent two days filming attractive tourist attractions and restaurants in our region, and produced several videos and articles for travel information media.

Eligibility : Applications must be submitted by the person in charge of a tourism-related department of a municipality, DMO, or other organization involved in wide-area excursions in the region. (Applications are limited to 3 organizations and will be reviewed at any time.)
Cost : Free of charge for filming (Our own production)
Production period : Approximately 1 to 2 months (1 to 2 days for filming)
Specifications : 1 or 2 runs, each expected to last 3 to 5 minutes
Remarks :We ask that you leave the production content and direction of the video to our staff.
     We would like to ask you to introduce tourist facilities in your area for the purpose of filming.
     We would like to ask you to hold a
hearing and exchange opinions with the tourism department manager of your organization regarding your policies for attracting visitors to your area.
     We will ask for your permission to use the produced video as a case study of our company’s production.
     We retain the copyright of the produced video, but secondary use of the video on your official website,
official SNS, or other official use is free of charge.
