Hagi City, China, Seeking Businesses to Exhibit at Cross-border EC Mall in China Business Briefing and Study Session to be held at Hagi City General Welfare Center from 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2012

 IntaSect Communications, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Tan Yufeng), an overseas promotion and inbound support company with a focus on China, will support the overseas sales channel development marketing of a Chinese cross-border EC mall operated by Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, which sells local products of Hagi City. Hagi City will be accepting applications from companies that wish to exhibit their products on the Chinese cross-border EC mall from June 22 (Wed.) to July 29 (Fri.), 2022. In addition, a project briefing and study session will be held on Tuesday, June 28, from 1:30 p.m. at the Hagi City General Welfare Center.

 Due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection, opportunities for face-to-face sales among businesses in the city have decreased, and an increasing number of businesses are newly expanding their sales channels to online sales, mainly in Japan, utilizing EC malls.
Therefore, this project will be launched as an option to support the shift to a new business model by promoting DX with a view to After Corona and With Corona, in order to develop a new market for Hagi City’s specialty products by cultivating overseas sales channels to China through cross-border EC, and to increase awareness of Hagi City. A special Hagi City page will be set up on the Chinese SNS tool “WeChat” and sales will begin on Monday, August 1, 2022.
 In addition, at a business briefing and study session to be held on Monday, June 28, Hagi City will provide an overview of the project, and our company will provide an overview of cross-border EC, including the development of a mini-program using “WeChat” and how to attract customers.
 
 In order to facilitate cross-border EC, we provide support for all the solutions necessary to enter cross-border EC in China, including the construction of EC malls based on WeChat development, promotional support such as video distribution and live commerce using Chinese influencers known as KOL, advertising operation support, management and support, and logistics. We provide support for all the solutions needed to enter the Chinese cross-border EC market. (Examples of our achievements are shown below.)

 According to the “FY2020 Industrial Economy Research Commission Project (Market Research on Electronic Commerce) Report” published by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in July 2021, the global cross-border EC market, especially in China, is expected to grow rapidly, from 85 trillion yen in 2019 to 530 trillion yen by 2026, a 6.2-fold increase. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the “Chinese consumer”. We will take this opportunity to recruit businesses that “want to take on the challenge of online sales to Chinese consumers” to stimulate, develop, and expand new demand through overseas expansion of Hagi City.
