Mobile ordering service “eateat” has been introduced to the web-based reservation system for products sold onboard JR Kyushu’s “D&S Trains”.

Ltd. and “e-SCOTT Smart”, a payment service provided by Sony Payment Services Corporation, to the web-based reservation system for D&S trains operated by Kyushu Railway Company (“JR Kyushu”), starting August 23, 2022.

 eateat, a DX service provided by IntaSect Communications, Inc., is a mobile ordering service for restaurants that enables easy ordering and contactless/non-personal contact through the same system from ordering to eat-in/take-out to payment.
 e-SCOTT Smart, the settlement service provided by Sony Payment Service Corporation, is the only credit card settlement service in the non-personalized industry with a direct network connection to 17 major credit card companies, enabling high-speed response and stable processing of large-volume transactions.

 We are pleased to announce that “eateat” has been introduced as a web-based reservation system for onboard products such as boxed lunches sold on the “D&S trains”, sightseeing trains operated by JR Kyushu. This allows passengers to make advance reservations for products sold on D&S trains via PC or smartphone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from anywhere in the world. In addition, onboard sales staff can sell products in a hygienic manner by reducing the number of in-person orders and the frequency of customer service.

Pre-payment is completed upon completion of the application.

At eat-in restaurants, customers place their orders by scanning QR codes, thereby improving the operational efficiency of hall staff and increasing turnover. Order information is printed from a dedicated printer and the name printed can be freely set.
For takeout, the system is digitalized for PCs and smartphones.
The system can be used simply by registering the menu, and by linking with smart lockers, complete contactless delivery is also possible.
