IntaSect Communications, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Tan Yufeng), an overseas promotion and inbound support company focusing on China, will be speaking at the “Japan-China Travel Summit 2022” organized by the Japan-China Tourism Business Association, which aims to create a new venue for “regional co-creation. On Tuesday, February 21, a business meeting and networking session will be held as the eve of the summit. On February 22 (Wed.), MOL will give a presentation on “How to polish regional brands through wide-area cooperation” from 14:05 and “How to promote regional DX and create added value” from 14:55.

Now in its fifth year, the “Japan-China Travel Summit 2022” aims to contribute to business exchange and development between Japan and China by creating a community of executives and business managers doing business between Japan and China and generating innovation through collaboration between companies.
Tourism traffic has resumed between China and Japan, and tourism and inbound businesses in Japan and China need to start preparing for the long-awaited resumption of tourism.
The Summit will feature six sessions in total, including keynote speech sessions and panel discussions. The keynote speech session will focus on the theme of “Japan-China Latest Policy and Market Trends,” and will be followed by an in-depth discussion between the JNTO Beijing Office, China’s Representative Office for Tourism in Tokyo, and a well-known Chinese writer of travelogues on Japan. In addition, a panel of Chinese travel agencies will take the stage to give their presentation messages. The panel discussion will be divided into four sessions, with 16 key industry players taking the stage under the themes of “Regional Frontlines” and “Market Frontlines.
Masahiro Shimokawa, General Manager of Sales Management Consulting Division and Deputy General Manager of Osaka Branch Office, and Kazushi Katakura, General Manager of Cross-border EC Promotion Office, International Advertising Promotion Group, will speak at Session B1 and Session C1, respectively.
Mr. Shimokawa will talk about “How to polish regional brands through wide-area collaboration” based on his experience as a sales manager in charge of inbound promotion, in charge of planning and promotion for railroads, airports, department stores, and local governments, and in charge of all operations from expanding awareness to attracting customers, including video promotion utilizing media and live distribution. I will talk about “how to improve regional brands through wide-area cooperation.
Katakura has supported local companies in developing sales channels in China in cooperation with regional financial institutions and local governments, including his experience in cross-border EC business with the theme of regional development since 2020. He will talk about “how to promote local DX and create added value” by providing one-stop support for cross-border EC, and also by communicating local information to attract inbound business.
