Kick-off General Meeting of the Healthcare IoT Consortium Held

The kick-off general meeting of the Healthcare IoT Consortium, in which we participate as a board member, was held on September 9, 2016.

The consortium is led by the University of Tokyo, Hokkaido University, Hiroshima City University, and Nuture Network Inc. in addition to MHI, and aims to create a social infrastructure that allows individuals to distribute healthcare information at their own will and with their own authority, and to assist them in changing their personalized behaviors to improve their health.

The kick-off general meeting was held in the conference room of the Japan Institute for Promotion of Digital Economy and Community (JIPDEC), where lectures by board members and panel discussions by expert committee members and representatives of each subcommittee were held, and the content was introduced in more than 30 media outlets.

Please see the official website for an overview of the Consortium, details of the kick-off general meeting, and participating organizations.
