Comply with the deregulated Electronic Bookkeeping Law and realize receipt scanning and storage by smartphone with in-house solution! Scanning apps, e-signature servers, and BPM tools make it easy and reliable to turn around expense reimbursement operations ?
Intasect Communications, Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Tan Yufeng, President; hereinafter referred to as “Intasect”) has modified its expense reimbursement system to support the data storage of receipts by taking smartphone photos, which was relaxed under the 2016 tax code revision. The company has already completed an application to the tax office and is currently operating the system on a trial basis within the company.
Intasect was quick to respond to the scanned preservation of receipts permitted under the 2015 tax reform, and in October 2015, we applied to the local tax office and began operating a scanned receipt preservation system. The scanned data is time-stamped using an in-house digital signature server, and the business process is managed and operated using a BPM tool (OpenText Cordys *1) to keep a trace of the business.
In this renovation, we built a web application for smartphone photography of receipts and linked it to the company’s expense reimbursement system. Functions such as photographing receipts with smartphones and uploading image data, adding time stamps, and previewing receipt data were modified, and the business process for processing applications from applicants to accounting staff was also reviewed to conform to the recent tax system revisions.
For customers who need a solution for scanned receipt storage and are considering implementing it in their own companies, we offer it as a solution that includes an app for smartphone photography, time stamping, and business process management tools, or as a total package.
