IntaSect Communications, Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Tan Yufeng, President; hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), which provides promotional and inbound support services in Greater China, has opened its Sapporo Sales Office, its first base in the Hokkaido region, and will begin operations in September 2008.

Background and Purpose of Opening Sapporo Office
Since 2002, our group has been expanding into China and now has four overseas offices in Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai, and Changchun, and has spent more than 15 years building a system of cooperation with our offices in Japan and China.
　In recent years, the number of tourists visiting Japan has continued to increase, with the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) estimating a 19.3% increase over the previous year to 2,869,001,000 in 2017, the highest record since statistics began. Of this total, 7,355,800 tourists, or 25% (1 in 4), came to Japan from mainland China, where our company’s business bases are located.

Hokkaido is one of the most attractive regions for tourists visiting Japan, and the number of companies using our inbound promotion and smartphone payment services is increasing steadily, and we see Hokkaido as a market that we should continue to strengthen.
　With the opening of the Sapporo Sales Office, we aim to enhance our support system for existing clients using our services and to contribute to the revitalization of joint sales activities with our business partners.
