IntaSect Communications, Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Tan Yuhong; hereinafter referred to as “IntaSect”) has agreed with Ministop Corporation (headquartered in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture; President: Akihiro Fujimoto; hereinafter referred to as “Ministop”) to start service, and has introduced IntaSect’s multi-payment application “IntaPay” at Ministop Narita Airport Terminal 1. (headquartered in Chiba, Japan; Akihiro Fujimoto, President; hereinafter referred to as “Ministop”), and has introduced “WeChat Pay” and “Alipay” at the “Ministop Narita Airport Terminal 1 Store” in advance.

 

In conjunction with the major Chinese New Year holiday, the Mini Stop Narita Airport Terminal 1 store, which has a high foreign customer base, has begun introducing WeChat Pay ahead of all other stores.
In addition to the introduction of WeChat Pay, the store is also running a special campaign from January 24 (Thu) to March 31 (Sun), 2019, offering a one-time discount of 5 yuan per person on purchases of 30 yuan or more. We plan to start accepting “WeChat Pay” and “Alipay” at all stores in March 2019.

IntaSect has developed a multi-payment platform “IntaPay” and is developing merchants in Japan. In addition to providing payment services, IntaPay will be promoted as a platform that can provide added value by analyzing purchase histories obtained from payments, measuring the effectiveness of campaigns, and developing mini-programs (e.g., cross-border EC, ticket sales, etc.).

WeChat Pay is a secure, fast, and efficient cashless payment service provided by Tencent (Tencent) that is used by over 800 million people in China and other countries.
