(President and CEO: Tan Yuhong) announces that “Rakuten Pay (app payment)” (“Rakuten Pay” app), which can be used with the “IntaPay” multi-payment application, has been changed from a direct individual contract with merchants to a comprehensive contract via “IntaPay”.
　This allows IntaPay member stores, regardless of the size of their business, to install the Rakuten Pay application and unify settlement procedures, making it more convenient for customers to use the application.

　The “Rakuten Pay” application, which became available for “IntaPay” in March 2019, was initially a direct contract between merchants and Rakuten Payments, Inc. and required separate settlement procedures such as application procedures and fees for “IntaPay” and the “Rakuten Pay” application, as well as business scale restrictions.
Now that IntaPay is available as a comprehensive contract, all settlement procedures are integrated into IntaPay along with other payment services, making it more convenient to use. In addition, even small businesses can now use the Rakuten Pay application.
Merchants already using the “Rakuten Pay” application can continue to use it.

　IntaPay is a multi-payment system that supports both domestic and international QR code payments, and can be used on iOS and Android devices, as well as mobile payment terminals (SUNMI ) developed by Sunmi, a leading POS device manufacturer in China, POS linkage and QR scanner devices, Web payment and application payment are also supported. （In the future, “IntaPay” is scheduled to sequentially support more domestic and international payment services.

■What is “ Rakuten Pay (App Settlement )”?
“Rakuten Pay (App Settlement)” is a service that allows you to register your credit card or Rakuten Bank account and make payments easily with a smartphone application. With a single application, users can make payments by credit card, Rakuten Bank account, Rakuten Points, Rakuten Cash, Rakuten Edy, and Suica (*), and can also use the Rakuten Point Card function.
