Amidst the recovery trend of inbound travel, products of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to be sold to Chinese consumers via cross-border EC Kanazawa Shinkin Bank and “Nihon Yusenkan,” a cross-border EC mall utilizing WeChat, have started full-scale sales, the first such initiative in the Hokuriku region.

IntaSect Communications, Inc. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Tan Yufeng), which provides cross-border EC for China and overseas promotion and inbound support mainly in China, and Kanazawa Shinkin Bank (Head office: Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture; President: Hidetoshi Tadada) have agreed to start full-scale sales in China from November. This will be the first time in Hokuriku. This will be the first such initiative in the Hokuriku region.

Kanazawa Shinkin funded the construction of our cross-border EC site within Mini Program, an application on WeChat, which is used by over 1.2 billion users in China. In addition to transmitting and selling products, we will also conduct promotional activities aimed at inbound recovery.

By communicating the local community through goods, we will work together to realize the revitalization of companies and communities in the credit union’s business areas, such as Kanazawa and Kaga.

In conjunction with the full-scale launch, a briefing session for businesses wishing to exhibit their products in the mall is scheduled for November 21 (Monday).

In order to facilitate cross-border EC, we provide support for all the solutions necessary to enter the cross-border EC market in China, including the construction of an EC mall based on WeChat, promotional support such as video distribution and live commerce using Chinese influencers known as KOLs, advertising operation support, management and support, logistics, and more. We provide support for all the solutions needed to enter the cross-border EC market in China.

According to the “FY2020 Industrial Economy Research Commission Project (Market Research on Electronic Commerce) Report” published by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in July 2021, the global cross-border EC market, especially in China, is expected to grow rapidly, from 85 trillion yen in 2019 to 530 trillion yen by 2026, a 6.2-fold increase. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the “Chinese consumer”. We are taking this opportunity to recruit companies that “want to take on the challenge of online sales to Chinese consumers” in order to stimulate, develop, and expand new demand through overseas expansion in Ishikawa Prefecture.
