Research results of a demonstration experiment using next-generation IntaHealth were presented at the “63rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Biomedical Engineering.

The “63rd Annual Conference of the Japanese Society for Biomedical Engineering” was held in Kagoshima, Japan, from May 23 to 25, 2024. Under the theme of “Biomedical Engineering Promoted by Multiple Professions,” this year’s congress proposed new solutions through collaboration among medicine, engineering, and informatics, as well as activities to promote innovation. In recent years, new digital transformation technologies are expected to develop to improve the quality of life by analyzing biometric information such as heart rate measured using wearable devices and diet and exercise data recorded using smartphones, for use in daily health management. We have been conducting joint research with Prof. Ken Seino of Osaka University to develop the basic technology for this purpose. This time, we made an oral presentation on the research results of a demonstration experiment using IntaHealth, a smartphone health management application developed by our company, to acquire and analyze data in conjunction with a wristwatch heart rate monitor and a subcutaneous continuous glucose meter.

Title: “Continuous Monitoring of Blood Glucose and Heart Rate Variability during Daily Activities”
