Passton was developed to address challenges in web production workflows, such as the significant time and effort required for proofreading and revisions, the cumbersome management of revision instructions, and the inconvenience of handling numerous printed materials. The tool was initially launched with a free plan in February 2023, followed by the release of paid plans in November of the same year.
